Our Goal

We are continuously striving for the most eco-friendly materials to use in our collections.  Our ultimate goal is to create products where the fabrics used are made from 100% post consumer products and 100% recyclable.  This is not within reach at this time – however the textile industry is heading in this direction.   As quality is so very important to us we are constantly testing these fabrics to bring them to you as soon as we can.  

Exterior Fabric

 

We use two different materials for the exterior of our products.  For those bags needing a more pliable fabric we are using a European faux calf skin.  It meets European Green Emissions Standards.  We are using an American made fabric with a water based lacquer process for the designs needing a more structured material.    

 

Interior Fabric

 

Our interior fabric is a synthetic material that is 100% animal friendly.  

 

Interior Padding

 

The padding used for the inside pockets of the messenger bags and the sides of the laptop portfolio are made from post consumer product and 100% recyclable.

 

Packaging Materials

 

The paper we use to stuff the handbags for shipping is recycled end-rolls from our local newspapers, the ‘plastic bags’ we place the handbags into for shipment are 100% biocompostable, and the shipping boxes are 40 -80% post-consumer product and 100% recyclable

 

Tags and Printed Materials

 

Our business cards, brochures, line-sheets, hang tags, and other paper materials are made from post-consumer products.  We strive to reduce the amount of paper used in our business practices by presenting our buyers and with electronic information rather than printed.
